Library Future Plans Meeting

Last week, the library board members and staff invited a few interested community members to attend a meeting to discuss the future goals and plans of the library. We discussed how we should implement and promote current programs and create new programs, receive more funding, and manage and attract volunteers. One of the first goals the library plans on attaining is to start a "Friend's of the Library" group. "Friends' of the Library" is a group of people who are interested in raising money, support, and overall awareness of the library. I really hope that we are able to successfully start this group, and I'm thankful for those who said they would be interested in being a part of it.
